SARAKSH Release Second Single Ahead of “Abiram”
SARAKSH Pushes Its Dark Narrative Further
German sludge metal band SARAKSH have unveiled ‘Confinement: Bottom Deep’, the second single from their upcoming album “Abiram”, due out on November 20, 2026. Following the earlier release of ‘Forlorn’, the new track brings the band’s dystopian, science fiction-driven narrative further into focus.
You can listen to Bottom Deep here.
Founded in 2018 by guitarist and vocalist Severin Mäker, SARAKSH combine hard-hitting riffs with atmospheric passages, shaping their songs around a cohesive narrative. This approach took on a more explicitly conceptual direction with 2023’s ‘Moloch: refactored’. The upcoming “Abiram” will continue the story that began at the end of the previous release’s title track.
Drawing influence from bands such as Converge, Ulcerate, Totem Skin and Omega Massif, SARAKSH move between groove-driven riffs, chaotic transitions, vocal passages and synth-led atmospheric sections. These elements serve not merely to create musical contrast, but also to support the progression of the narrative.
As the second single released ahead of “Abiram”’s November 20 arrival, ‘Confinement: Bottom Deep’ offers another glimpse into the album’s continuing storyline.
