NYTT LAND, “Ritual Of Stone Sun” İçin Tam Konser Videosunu Yayınladı
NYTT LAND Brings Siberian Rituals To The Stage
Siberian dark folk duo NYTT LAND have released the full live video for their upcoming live album “Ritual Of Stone Sun”, capturing the entirety of a concert held in Moscow. The March 22 performance by Natalia and Anatoly Pakhalenko was staged as a special ritual centered on the spring equinox and the awakening of nature.
The 46-minute performance brings together songs from different periods of NYTT LAND’s career. The throat singing and shamanic drums prominent in the duo’s early Nordic works are presented alongside the ancient percussion and vocal traditions of Siberia that became the focus of their later recordings.
The setlist also includes ‘Ragnarök’ from the 2018 album “Oðal” and ‘U-Gra’ from 2021’s “Ritual”. ‘Ragnarök’, featuring Anatoly Pakhalenko’s throat singing and talharpa playing, has become one of the core pieces of the band’s live ritual, while ‘U-Gra’ stands out in the performance with its drums invoking the ancient culture of Siberia and Natalia Pakhalenko’s vocals.
Session musician Aleksandr Rosliakov also joined NYTT LAND on drums for the performance. The live album was produced by Sergei “Lazar” and Anatoly Pakhalenko, with mixing handled by Anatoly and Natalia Pakhalenko at NYTT LAND Studio.
“Ritual Of Stone Sun (Live 2026)” was released digitally through Season of Mist on September 18. The album brings together, in a single live performance, the evolution of NYTT LAND, founded in 2013, from Norse mythology to Siberia-centered ritual music. This trajectory began with releases such as “Hávamál” and “Sköpun: Songs from the Elder Edda”, before continuing through “Ritual” (2021), “Torem” (2023), “Songs of the Shaman” (2025), and the band’s tenth album, “Aba Khan”, released through Prophecy Productions in February 2026. NYTT LAND joined the Season of Mist roster in May 2026.
According to the band, the album is dedicated to the transition into spring and the awakening of nature, while some of the songs featured on the album are still performed by nomadic peoples of Siberia during ceremonies, shamanic rituals, and folk festivals.
The album’s visual artwork was created by Dmitrii Kulikov and Anatoly Pakhalenko, with photography by Dmitrii Kulikov. The live video was filmed by Sergei Kaputanuk, edited by Natalia Pakhalenko, with color grading and post-production handled by Anatoly Pakhalenko.
The release of the “Ritual Of Stone Sun” video also comes ahead of NYTT LAND’s first Australian tour in November. The duo will co-headline four dates with Mortiis, with special guest TiR joining the tour.
