EMBERS OF OBLIVION Unveil New Single Drawn Into A Night Immortal
Darkness Won’t Let Go
Dutch melodic black/death metal band EMBERS OF OBLIVION released their new single, 'Drawn Into A Night Immortal', on digital platforms on August 21. With the track, the band is also hinting at further new material to come in the near future.
'Drawn Into A Night Immortal' is built around a dark narrative of being inevitably drawn toward the unknown and ultimately surrendering to eternal sleep. As pain, torment, and inner struggle gradually intensify throughout the song, its central figure finds themselves trapped in a suffocating darkness from which escape increasingly seems impossible.
This thematic framework also aligns with the band's musical approach. EMBERS OF OBLIVION combine the aggression of black metal with the melodic foundations of the Scandinavian death metal tradition, creating a layered sound through their dual-vocal approach, twin-guitar harmonies, and a guitar solo toward the end of the track.
The band is also working on further songs following the release of the new single. According to the announcement, recording of new material is still underway, with additional releases planned for the coming months.
On the production side, EMBERS OF OBLIVION handled the recording themselves, while Joey Ouwerkerk of J.O. Music Production took care of mixing and mastering. The single's artwork was created by Marco den Riet.
Alongside their studio work, EMBERS OF OBLIVION are also preparing for live performances. The band plans to bring their new material to the stage in the coming months.
'Drawn Into A Night Immortal' is now available across all digital platforms. The track can be streamed via Bandcamp, Apple Music, Spotify, and YouTube Music.
